Sudbury Regatta takes place on the Saturday and Sunday of the first weekend of August each year. This year's Regatta will take place on the 2nd and 3rd and we are already planning to lay on the usual glorious weather. This year we are re-introducing our Saturday night post-racing party (or pre-Sunday racing preparation!) - 7.30 till late with our resident DJ providing a range of music from eclectic to pop. The beer tent will be open all evening and food will be available. There is plenty of room for camping for those staying for the weekend.
The 650m Rowing course is raced on Saturday, upstream from a stake boat start along a course characterised by some challenging bends. One of the highlights of the regatta is the eights sprint racing along the last and straighter 350m. Click HERE for the Poster for all Entry details

A recent addition to the weekend is a day of Dragon Boat racing on the Sunday.

We are very grateful for the help of the Sudbury Sea Scouts for assisting with Safety Cover and providing personnel and to Jeff Burroughs of the River Stour Trust for his boat! Jeff runs a website for users of the River which you may wish to visit
